About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Tester to join their Information Technology team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and test plans to ensure the quality of software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and validate deliverables.
- Conduct API testing, database validation, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong knowledge of defect management tools.
- Familiarity with API testing and database validation techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
