About this role
The team is seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role will involve performing Software/Application Testing across various types of testing within a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software engineers, product analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements for new or enhanced features.
- Analyze requirement documents and design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts that adhere to established standards.
- Conduct various forms of testing including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Test Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
