About this role
The team is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks, as well as experience in automating both front-end and REST API functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Automate test cases for REST APIs and front-end applications.
- Customize BDD/Selenium integrations to enhance testing processes.
- Collaborate with functional testers, developers, and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create and manage automation test cases and feature files.
- Participate in agile methodology practices and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber framework.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, particularly in trade products.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in test automation and software testing.
