About this role
The team is seeking a Telecom Automation Specialist with a strong background in the telecom domain, particularly in Operations Support Systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up processes and automation for Network Operation Center monitoring, ensuring efficient operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions for Network Operation Center monitoring.
- Set up and manage DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for medium to large size projects.
- Develop scripts using Python, Perl, and PL-SQL to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize Linux OS and tools such as grep, sed, and awk for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and enhance system performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the telecom domain.
- Proven expertise in Operations Support Systems and Network Operation Center processes.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipeline setup.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Perl, and PL-SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
