Technology Specialist - SOC

The team is seeking a Technology Specialist - SOC to join their team in Mumbai (Kandivali). This role involves hands-on experience in incident analysis and malware research, contributing to the security incident response efforts within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough incident analysis and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Engage in malware research to enhance security protocols and measures.
• Utilize SIEM solutions such as LogRhythm, Qradar, or Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of security tools including IDS/IPS, web proxies, DLP, CASB, DNS security, DDoS protection, and firewalls.
• Analyze cloud alerts and events to ensure robust security posture.
• Stay updated with NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks to improve security practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar security incident response role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools and a solid understanding of various security technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
