About this role
The team is seeking a Technology Architect with extensive experience in software architecture and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and microservices, as well as expertise in cloud technologies and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and robust architecture solutions.
- Lead the development of microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 8 or higher.
- Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Oversee application server configurations and database management with SQL and NoSQL.
- Work with data technologies including Databricks, Delta Lake, and data governance practices.
- Ensure data lineage and manage data products for both streaming and batch processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 11 to 14 years of overall experience in technology roles, with 3 to 4 years in an architectural capacity.
- Proficient in Java 8 or higher, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Familiarity with Hibernate, JUnit, and various database technologies.
- Knowledge of data management tools and practices, including data lineage and governance.
