The team is seeking a Technical Manager specializing in Application Security to lead their AppSec team. This role is crucial for overseeing application security projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the AppSec team, managing L1 and L2 resources across various application security projects.
- Oversee application security reviews, including assessments for web, mobile, and APIs.
- Ensure quality control of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), code reviews, and network architecture deliverables.
- Drive risk and compliance reporting in alignment with BFSI security standards.
- Act as the single point of contact for project governance and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor daily operations, resource utilization, and project timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application security, with a strong understanding of security protocols and practices.
- Familiarity with VAPT tools and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of web, mobile, and API security standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications in application security are a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in application security or related fields is required.
