About this role
The team is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead - SRE to join their team. In this role, you will focus 20% on leadership and 80% on hands-on execution. You will be instrumental in technically guiding the team on daily operations and agile projects, actively contributing to critical initiatives, and collaborating with SRE leadership on planning and architecture. This is a prime opportunity to mentor engineers, work with diverse stakeholders, and significantly impact our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure optimal performance of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in SRE.
- Drive the planning and architecture of scalable and resilient systems.
- Contribute to incident management and post-mortem analysis.
- Actively participate in agile project management and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role within SRE or DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, etc.).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience: 5-8 years in a related field.
