About this role
The team is seeking a Technical Lead specializing in Java Backend development to join their dynamic team. This role involves leading a group of developers to design and implement robust backend solutions that support their travel management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend services using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the system.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose enhancements to the existing architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
