The team is seeking a Technical Duty Officer (SRE) to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of their systems, contributing to the overall success of their ecommerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance and availability, responding to incidents and outages.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for system management and monitoring.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related fields.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and incident management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a technical support or SRE role.
