About this role
The team is seeking a Technical Development Manager to lead and enhance their engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate Statements of Work (SOWs) and convert them into actionable, agile-driven execution plans. You will implement and uphold best-in-class engineering practices to ensure code quality, uptime, performance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate SOWs and develop execution plans.
- Implement engineering best practices to maintain code quality and performance.
- Drive alignment and clear communication between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and manage a team of talented engineers, mentoring and developing their skills.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a technical management role, ideally within software development.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration.
- Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and technologies relevant to the industry.
Experience: 5-8 years in technical management or a related field.
