About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Technical Consultant specializing in Snowflake Administration to join their Platform Administration team. This role is crucial in partnering with engineering and business groups to maintain a secure, highly available, and cost-efficient Snowflake environment across Development, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary L3 escalation contact within a 24x7 rotational shift model (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Ensure zero information gaps across global follow-the-sun coverage.
- Execute automated platform operations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Snowflake administration and architecture.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in technical consulting or platform administration, with a focus on Snowflake.
