The team is seeking a Technical Application Service Specialist to join their team. This role requires a professional with a strong technical background and a passion for ensuring optimal performance of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for technical incidents and service requests.
- Perform performance tuning for SQL and relational databases to enhance application efficiency.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Shell or Python to automate processes and improve operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application issues promptly.
- Monitor application performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SQL and relational database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with scripting in Shell or Python.
- Solid operational exposure in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Level 2 support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in technical application support and database management.
