About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Senior Data Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines that ensure data integrity and availability.
- Optimize data processing workflows for efficiency and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure reliable data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Utilize AWS services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift in data architecture.
- Work with technologies like PySpark, Apache Airflow, and PostgreSQL to enhance data processing capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Strong expertise in AWS services and data processing frameworks.
- Proficient in PySpark, Apache Airflow, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data architecture design and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
