About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Tech Lead with strong Java development expertise and a deep understanding of AWS, DevOps, and containerization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration with third-party teams, and driving efficient software development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of software solutions using Java (JDK 1.7 & 1.8) and relevant frameworks.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure and services to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Implement DevOps practices to enhance development workflows and deployment efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a high-performing team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java development with hands-on experience in JDK 1.7 & 1.8.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in software development and team leadership roles.
