About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Backend Developer to lead their backend team and build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend developers.
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Implement and maintain databases with MongoDB.
- Create and manage REST APIs for seamless integration.
- Utilize cloud technologies to enhance application performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend development with Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
Experience:
- 6-10 years in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
