The team is seeking a Systems Engineering Advisor - Application Packaging to join their team. This lead-level role is designed for an experienced Application Packaging Lead who will be responsible for delivering high-quality application packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering and application packaging methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application packaging process, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and assess application needs.
- Develop, test, and deploy application packages using tools such as SCCM, App-V, or similar.
- Troubleshoot and resolve packaging issues in a timely manner.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in application packaging techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in application packaging and systems engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in application packaging and systems engineering.
- Proficiency with packaging tools such as AdminStudio, InstallShield, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and application deployment methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
