System Administrator-IT

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator-IT to join the team’s team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of systems. You will work closely with other IT staff to support technical needs and drive improvements in the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security measures to safeguard the organization's IT assets and data.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to various systems and applications.
• Conduct regular system backups and recovery operations.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute upgrades and migrations.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and administration.
• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and backup solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT system administration.
