About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert - Oracle DBA to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and security of Oracle databases across various operating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of database administrators and provide expert guidance on Oracle database management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, coordinating with Oracle Technical Support as needed.
- Implement advanced security measures, including data encryption and performance tuning.
- Manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard configurations to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Oversee patching processes and integration with monitoring tools to maintain system integrity.
- Utilize SQL*Loader, Discoverer 19c, PL/SQL, OEM, and SOA for effective database management and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification.
- Extensive experience in Oracle Administration and database performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and advanced security implementation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and coordinating with technical support teams.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and database integration techniques.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle database administration.
