About this role
The team is seeking a Staff Test Engineer with expertise in both automation and manual testing to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification and validation strategies that align with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) requirements, ensuring project timelines and resource constraints are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive software test cases to verify software requirements.
- Create, maintain, and enhance the automation test framework to improve testing efficiency.
- Conduct manual testing, including exploratory and formal testing, to ensure software quality.
- Execute software test plans and perform bug verification.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to test planning and estimation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and provide feedback on software functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both automation and manual testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing processes.
- Proficiency in developing automation frameworks and writing test scripts.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks relevant to the industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.
