About this role
The team is seeking a Staff Technical Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our high availability SaaS environment, while providing top-notch technical support to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Mac-based servers and workstations.
- Identify performance issues and bottlenecks in a high-performing environment.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, and other tools to streamline system administration tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve system, application, and network issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in system administration for Linux and Mac environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of performance optimization techniques in SaaS applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on timely resolution of issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical support or system administration.
