The team is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive the efficiency of their digital marketplace. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of features that meet the needs of both manufacturers and buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to define project requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the product.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile.
- Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on building scalable applications.
