About this role
The team is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer specializing in Python Automation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing automated function test cases, building test infrastructure tailored to product needs, and mentoring junior team members. You will also develop and maintain the automation framework, utilizing both in-house and modern tools to enable automation of network security products and scheduling of runs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of automated function test cases.
- Build and maintain test infrastructure to meet product requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Develop and maintain the automation framework.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient automation runs.
- Utilize modern tools for automation of network security products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Python and automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of network security principles.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development and automation.
