About this role
As a Staff Software Developer, you will be an integral part of the product engineering team, focusing on maintaining and supporting the team primary product, the Vena Excel Desktop Addin. This product is widely utilized by a growing customer base of over 1,700 users. Your role will involve not only coding but also acting as an architect within the team to ensure high-quality delivery of product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the Vena Excel Desktop Addin, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Drive architectural decisions and best practices within the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in C# and .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Experience with application architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of professional software development experience, particularly in C# and .NET environments.
