About this role
The team is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join their Lingo Division in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable platform solutions that support various applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of the business and its users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable platform architecture.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with the platform.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for platform processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
