The team is seeking a dynamic Staff Engineer, Software to join their engineering team. This role focuses on the intersection of hardware and software, enabling the management of a fleet of devices in modern data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in areas related to board management controllers and low-level driver development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that interface with hardware components.
- Develop and maintain low-level drivers and board management software for various devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware-software integration.
- Optimize software performance and reliability in data center operations.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems or hardware interfacing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Strong understanding of board management controllers and low-level driver architecture.
- Experience with data center technologies and management software is a plus.
