The team is seeking a Staff Engineer specializing in DevOps and Data Security, specifically in Data Loss Prevention (DLP). In this role, you will be at the forefront of securing cloud environments and ensuring data integrity across various platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance security measures that protect sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement DLP solutions to safeguard data across cloud services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing expertise in root cause analysis and remediation.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline security processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of data security principles and DLP technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps and data security roles.
