About this role
The team is seeking a Staff Engineer specializing in Automation Testing for Cloud and Web Software. In this role, you will lead and perform testing across web, desktop, and mobile applications. You will be responsible for translating requirements into effective test designs and implementing those designs. Additionally, you will lead a team to develop and document a robust test automation framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead testing efforts for various applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive test designs.
- Design, develop, and document test automation frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure requirement tracing is maintained.
- Conduct load testing, software unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.
- Perform static analysis using tools like FxCop and SonarQube, and dynamic analysis using XUnit and NCover.
- Execute white box and black box testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in automation testing of cloud and web applications.
- Proficient in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as XUnit, NCover, FxCop, and SonarQube.
- Excellent understanding of both manual and automated testing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in automation testing and software quality assurance.
