The team is seeking a highly skilled Staff DevOps Engineer to lead their DevOps and Platform Engineering initiatives. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and scalability of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, security, and platform scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement platform architecture to support scalable and reliable systems.
- Build and operate highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Develop automation solutions to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Ensure the security of systems and data through best practices and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform performance and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps practices and principles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
