The team is seeking a Staff Data Visualization Designer with a strong background in UI/UX to join their innovative team. This role is crucial in transforming complex data into engaging and intuitive visual formats that enhance user experience and drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to understand data requirements and user needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for data-driven applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data visualization and UI/UX design.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data visualization design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
- Strong understanding of data visualization libraries and frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on data visualization.
