The team is seeking a Staff Application Engineer to join their Worldwide Regional Applications group in Bangalore, India. This role is designed for an experienced application engineer with a strong focus on FPGA usage in 5G technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 5G architecture, including core, RAN, and edge solutions, with a particular emphasis on virtualization, performance optimization, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement FPGA solutions tailored for 5G applications.
- Optimize performance and security of 5G architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test innovative solutions.
- Utilize DSP skills to design, implement, and debug DSP algorithms for FPGA applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in FPGA design and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of 5G architecture, including core, RAN, and edge solutions.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies and performance optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of DSP concepts and experience in algorithm development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Experience required: 5-8 years in a relevant field.
