About this role

The team is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale AWS cloud infrastructure while driving Kubernetes (EKS) adoption and workload migration. Your expertise will be crucial in automating infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps practices, enhancing platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure at scale.
  • Drive the adoption of Kubernetes (EKS) and oversee workload migration.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform and GitOps.
  • Define and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to build highly available and resilient systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, especially EKS.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SLI/SLO frameworks and incident management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years in a Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.
