About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in Java and test automation to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality.
- Ensure the integration of automation frameworks with JIRA for efficient test management.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and improve testing processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and frameworks.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in automation best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in functional automation testing.
- Proficient in Java and Selenium.
- Experience with Page Object Model (POM) framework.
- Familiarity with test management tools, particularly JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in test automation.
