About this role
As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of the team IT systems, infrastructure, and network. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues, implement solutions, and optimize the IT environment for maximum efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers, including versions 2012 and 2019.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a strong background in infrastructure and network management.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and related technologies.
- Familiarity with network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in system administration and network management.
