The team is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Engineer specializing in Injection Molding to join their innovative team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and efficiency of supply chain operations as they work towards groundbreaking advancements in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans for injection molding processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on technical capabilities and production processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and reduce costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in supplier development, specifically in injection molding.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes and materials.
- Experience with quality engineering tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
