About this role
The team is seeking a Sr Specialist System Engineer – Cloud Automation to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and deploying CI/CD pipelines that deliver platform services, configurations, and automation safely and repeatably at scale. You will design and develop web UIs and APIs that enable self-service operations and event-driven workflows for platform management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines for platform services and automation.
- Design and develop web UIs and APIs for self-service operations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep, standardizing patterns and modules.
- Embed observability and reliability into automation, including logging and metrics.
- Ensure consistent deployments through the use of guardrails and pre/post-checks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools.
- Strong experience with Azure Bicep and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Knowledge of web development technologies for UI and API design.
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in system engineering and cloud automation.
