About this role
The team is seeking a Sr Specialist Cybersecurity - Control Testing to join their Controls Assurance (CA) team, which is part of the Chief Security Office (CSO). This role is crucial for testing information technology and information security controls that are managed by their Technology Services. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with control owners, control operators, technology teams, business process owners, and transformation stakeholders to ensure compliance and effectiveness of controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of ITGC and SOX controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather necessary information for control testing.
- Analyze control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Prepare detailed reports on control testing results and findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of control testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on control testing and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of ITGC, SOX compliance, and the telecom domain.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and management practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
