About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Quality Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work alongside AI agents as co-workers within our AI-SDLC framework, utilizing tools such as Anthropic Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and AWS Bedrock throughout the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive work from Jira tickets and Confluence documentation, ensuring they serve as the source of truth for requirements, decisions, and context.
- Leverage deep domain and product knowledge to evaluate and challenge requirements, ensuring they are precise, complete, and structured for effective processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and efficiency of software delivery.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear feedback to the development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
