About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on development experience in Java and J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in application and product development, particularly using the Spring framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications.
- Utilize Java Messaging Services (JMS) for messaging and communication between applications.
- Work with SQL databases and ORM technologies such as Hibernate, IBatis, or MyBatis.
- Engage with NoSQL databases like MongoDB for specific use cases.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and J2EE technologies.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience in application/product development.
- Proficient in the Spring framework and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with ORM technologies.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
