About this role
The team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Software Engineer with strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL to join their development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs with Express.js to support frontend functionality.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve the application.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with cloud services and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of hands-on development experience across the full application stack.
