About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join their engineering team in Pune, India. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of their distributed storage platform while also managing and maintaining the QA lab infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement QA strategies to improve product quality.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for various storage protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive testing to identify defects and ensure the performance of the storage platform.
- Manage and maintain the QA lab environment, ensuring it is stable, scalable, and ready for test execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and resolve issues.
- Document test plans, test cases, and testing results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of storage protocols and distributed systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
