The team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Java frameworks to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining the platform that empowers millions of buyers and sellers globally. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust Java-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize existing platform components for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java and familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Proficient in cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in software development, with a focus on platform engineering and Java technologies.
