About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Sr. IT Engineer - QE to join their dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS and hands-on experience with automation tools. This individual should possess a strong understanding of Java frameworks and be able to coach others where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of automated and manual test plans to ensure the highest quality of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide insights on testing strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Identify, record, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in software quality assurance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud-based testing environments.
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Java testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
