About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for their Thermal Management team based in Pune and/or Chakan. This role involves leading and developing a high-performing engineering team, ensuring accountability and technical excellence in the execution of Thermal Management products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the local Thermal Management engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Oversee the engineering execution of Chilled Water products, including chiller, CRAH, and Thermal Wall product lines.
- Support New Product Development Initiatives (NPDI) from concept through to launch, ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
- Conduct design reviews and validation plans to meet cost targets and product documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in thermal management systems and product development.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices related to chiller and thermal products.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant engineering experience, with a focus on thermal management and product development.
