About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Engineer II specializing in Application Engineering and AI. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the customer-facing experience of a metrics and reporting platform, primarily built as a React application. This application is module-federated into a larger micro-frontend architecture and is supported by a FastAPI backend over a curated analytics data layer. You will work on creating dashboards, tables, filters, charts, and saved views, transforming correct metrics into actionable insights for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the frontend components of the application using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance user experience.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.
- Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with FastAPI or similar backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of micro-frontend architecture.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development.
