The team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Data Platform team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of their cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and a passion for enhancing data security and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
- Collaborate with data engineering and software development teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of data platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard data and applications in the cloud.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Experience with database management and data pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
