About this role
The team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and maintain cloud systems through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, and comprehensive observability monitoring and alerting. This role involves working closely with Platform Engineers to drive the modernization of legacy application infrastructures and leading software engineering teams to operate according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Ensure comprehensive monitoring and alerting for cloud systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Automate system processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.
