The team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team focused on enhancing the Prime Video Advertising platform. This role will involve designing and implementing data solutions that support advertising initiatives, ensuring data integrity and availability for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement data models that support analytics and reporting needs for advertising performance.
- Optimize existing data processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance data engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services like Redshift, S3, and Glue.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related fields.
