The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join their dynamic data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in AWS data services and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, insightful, data-intensive solutions on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS data services.
- Implement and manage data models in Amazon Redshift and Amazon Athena.
- Utilize AWS Glue for data integration and transformation tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS data services, including Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, and AWS Glue.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
