About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data & BI Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, data modeling, RLS, and Power BI Service.
- Design and manage end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytics.
- Design scalable data models, including Star Schema, fact and dimension tables.
- Work with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Lakehouse environments.
- Utilize Python and other relevant tools to enhance data processing and analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing Power BI solutions and data visualization.
- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with complex query optimization.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques and database design principles.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Azure services.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
